"You have been purchased, and at a price. So glorify God in your body." ~ 1 Corinthians 6:20

Return to Healthy: Day 1

I did quite well today...I ate exactly what I intended to eat, when I intended to eat it.

No more, no less.

And, I forced myself to the gym. I re-acquainted myself with the fact that, as much as I have become lazy and have found every excuse under the sun to not excercise lately, once I get there and get past that first tenth of a mile on the treadmill, that I really feel so much better.

Best of all, the feeling created by the surging endorphins lasts almost a full day. Ain't nothing bringing me down when I've spent some time burning calories and sweating out the bad stuff.

And then, the sore muscles set in. I can handle that type of soreness.

Even Plato knew it:

"Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it."
