So, today I got back on the wagon. And, I think renumbering my posts is in order, at least until I get a consistent pattern going. Today is Day 1A.
I started my day off at 6:45 today with a quick 3-mile run. The uncharacteristically early start serves a few of my purposes:
- A kickstart to re-direct my focus.
- A precursor to establish a summer schedule. If I don't start training myself now, I will all to quickly fall into the rut of sleeping until 9 and then missing the only coolness of the day.
- A reminder that my daily excercise doesn't take as long as I try to convince myself...which I then craftily use as a reason for why I can't do it.
